Gautam Gambhir was one the top players for team India during his playing days. No one can forget his valuable 97-run knock in the 2011 ODI World Cup final. His knock along with MS Dhoni’s 91*-run knock were crucial as the Men in Blue won the tournament. Currently, Gambhir is busy doing commentary and working with broadcasters as a cricket pundit.

But, his statements regarding some active and former players like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni make headlines. There are many instances where Gambhir was seen making cheeky comments to take a dig at Kohli. Now, he came up with a huge comment regarding Dhoni and his fans went crazy after that.

“No one bats better in the nets than MS Dhoni,” - Gautam Gambhir

Dhoni is currently preparing for the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League in 2023 for his Chennai franchise. Many videos have gone viral where the Chennai skipper was seen hitting big sixes at the net sessions. There are reports that it might be the final season when Dhoni will don the yellow jersey. Now, while commenting on the same matter, Gautam Gambhir said: “When it comes to Indian T20 League, no one bats better in the nets than MS Dhoni.” Gambhir will be also seen in the league but as the mentor of the Lucknow franchise.
