After registering a convincing victory in the first Test, Team India are all set to lock horns with West Indies in the second Test on 20 July in Port of Spain. After this, they will play a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series. Then, they are scheduled to play a three-match T20I series in Ireland.

However, reports have been circulated that both Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul might make a comeback in the team in that series. Currently, both of them are in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. Now, a video went viral where Rahul was seen having an indoor batting session. Seeing that, fans shared their views on social media.

Before the IPL, KL Rahul’s form was a concern as he was failing to score big for Team India across all three formats on a regular basis. Former cricketers like Venkatesh Prasad slammed the team management for giving him opportunities despite failures over in-form youngsters. However, in IPL 2023, he was the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper. But, during their home clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he sustained an injury while fielding. After that, he got ruled out of the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Then, he had a successful surgery and now, Rahul is busy having rehab sessions at the NCA.

Recently, a video regarding Jasprit Bumrah also went viral where the pacer was seen bowling in the nets. He is reportedly bowling seven-eight overs every day to get fitter day by day. So, it will be interesting to see if the star batter finally manages to make a comeback to the squad for the upcoming Ireland T20I series. The inclusion of these two players might work as a booster for Rohit Sharma and his men ahead of big events like the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and the ODI World Cup in India.
