India and England locked horns in the second semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. On being asked to bat first after winning the toss, the Indian team managed to post a total of 168 runs for the loss of six wickets, thanks to the hard-fought partnership between former skipper Virat Kohli and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

While chasing the target, the English team scored 170 runs without losing any wickets in just 16 overs to win the match by a mammoth margin of 10 overs. The Indian cricket fans are in an extreme state of disappointment with the performance of the men in blue in the second semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. They took to Twitter to express themselves and to go hard while criticizing the performance of Indian players in the most-important match of the coveted tournament.

Talking about the action of the match between the men in blue and the three lions, the Indian team, riding on Hardik Pandya’s brilliant knock of 63 runs off just 33 balls with four boundaries and five sixes to his name. India’s most celebrated batter of this edition, Virat Kohli also played a vital knock of 50 runs off 40 balls with four boundaries and a six on his credit.

Chris Jordan scalped three wickets for England including the big one of Virat Kohli on the last ball of the 18th over of the Indian innings.

While chasing the target, the opening pair of skipper Jos Buttler and Alex Hales stitched a brilliant unbeaten partnership of 170 runs for the first wicket in 20 overs. Eventually, England registered a thumping victory of 10 wickets to enter the final of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 in a convincing style. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler scored amazing unbeaten knocks of  80 and 86 runs respectively. None of the Indian bowlers could scalp a single wicket to their name in the all-important clash of the tournament.
