Here’s the message from Ravindra Jadeja:

Earlier, Jadeja was excluded mid-way through the Asia Cup 2022 as he sustained a knee injury while skiing. Subsequently, his medical reports suggested that he wouldn’t be a part of the Indian team for the entire eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup. Before going ruled out, the southpaw played a crucial role in India’s win against Pakistan in the group match of the continental tournament.

Coming back to the Indian team in the 20-20 World Cup 2022, they are placed in Group 2 with Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands, and Scotland.

Following the conclusion of the World Cup, the men in blue will tour New Zealand for a three-match tri-series and an ODI series of the same number of matches. The fans are expecting Jadeja to be fit till the start of India’s bilateral clash against New Zealand.
