Rajasthan Royals (RR) had a disappointing IPL 2023 after finishing in the fifth position with 14 points in 14 games. They failed to qualify for the playoffs despite being the runners-up in the 2022 edition. However, Yuzvendra Chahal had a good season as he picked up 21 wickets in 14 games.

He finished the season in the joint-fourth position in the race for the Purple Cap. He has now become the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL also. But, now Chahal shared a video where he was seen playing street cricket in Mumbai. Seeing that, fans shared their views on the social media platform.

Here is the shared tweet:

“If any leg-spinner wants to learn bowling, watch him bowl.” – Harbhajan Singh on Yuzvendra Chahal during IPL 2023

Speaking of the tweet, he wrote: “The gully Impact player kya bolti @rajasthanroyals.” However, recently, he also shared pictures of him meeting with his former RCB teammate, AB de Villiers. He wrote: “ AB Sir kinda Sunday….how you doing?” From 2014 to 2021, both of them played together for RCB in IPL. After Chahal became the highest wicket-taker in IPL, the former Team India spinner, Harbhajan Singh came up with a huge claim regarding him. He said that Chahal is as important as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in a team.

During a post-match discussion on Star Sports, Harbhajan said: “If you compare his stature with any IPL batter, it will be higher than theirs. We forget bowlers at times because we give more importance to batters. He is as big a name as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav if we see his performances.”

“Unfortunately, bowlers are not given that importance in our place but I am so glad to see his progress. When he was young, I remember the time when he came to the Mumbai Indians camp. He was very skillful at that time as well. With the intelligence, he has gained while playing, he is an inspiration to everyone. If any leg-spinner wants to learn bowling, watch him bowl. There was one great Shane Warne and after that him,” he concluded.
