It is to be noted that they already announced KL Rahul as their skipper. The other two players signed by them are Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi. Thus, the Super Giants recently posted an image of Rahul on Instagram, in a Pushpa avatar. Pushpa is a recent Tollywood movie starring Allu Arjun.

“KL Rahul Jhukega Nahi" read the caption. However, what followed was several trolls. Many users made fun of the post and pointed out the poor application of the dialogue in cricketing terms. The fans on the internet came up with some hilarious comments.

“Jhukega nahi to bouncer gend lagegi helmet pe.” read a comment. Several Instagram users pointed out the fact that he couldn't play if he didn't bend. Another user pointed out that he wouldn't be able to do the glovework if he didn't bend.

"Jhukna to padega.. keeping kaisi hogi bina jhuke" read his reply.

However, with the likes of Andy Flower and Gautam Gambhir in their support staff, LSG would fancy their chances to do well in their debut season. Gambhir drew light on the expectations of Rahul as the team's captain, as well as the expectations he has from the players who would go on to play for the franchise.

"It is for the support staff to make him feel free. The biggest burden will not be the price tag but the pressure to perform. We want players who are honest, want to play for the franchise and who do not think of playing for India in those two months. Playing for India is a by-product. We want performances for Lucknow," said Gautam Gambhir, as quoted by NDTV
