In the latest development on social media surrounding him, a few photos of his recent family getaway to Mussoorie featuring his wife Dhanashree Verma went viral online. The images show him enjoying the heart of nature along with his wife and other close ones. Fans have reacted with hilarious responses and have stated the obvious which is to question the absence of Shreyas Iyer. For the unknown, Chahal’s wife and Shreyas Iyer are friends given Dhanashree’s profession as a choreographer. Iyer’s sister is also a dancer, hence, the connection.

Yuzvendra Chahal opened up on MS Dhoni’s IPL 2023 triumph recently

The right-arm bowler spoke exclusively with News18 CricketNext about the IPL and MS Dhoni winning another IPL trophy. When asked about his experience of winning the Purple Cap, Chahal replied, “Personally, I was really happy. I became the highest wicket-taker in the IPL, that was like a dream come true. When you play a tournament, you want to sit at the helm. I enjoyed myself a lot but was disappointed that it didn’t really go well for the team. But that happens and is part and parcel of the game. Last year, we were in the finals, this time we missed out on qualifying for the playoffs, so that happens and that’s how the game works. Overall, we are a very good team, and the mistakes that we committed in this edition, we will try to rectify in the future.”

On MS Dhoni he said, “Definitely, it was an emotional moment. Not only me, but the whole of India wanted him to win. And it’s a good thing and I’m really happy to see that. He is a legend and the way he is, if CSK would have defeated us in the final, I would have been equally happy for him.”
