But apart from that, former legendary Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is now on the receiving end of the trolls on Twitter. Actually, the president of the Indian Cricket Board went on to praise Virat Kohli with an obvious statement.

This gave a chance to Indian cricket fans for trolling Sourav Ganguly on his remarks toward Virat Kohli.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to Sourav Ganguly’s tweet:

Even after the elimination of the Indian team from the tournament, the 33-year-old is the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 276 runs in five matches with an amazing average of 92.00 having a century and two half-centuries to his name. He won the player of the match award for his century against Afghanistan in the last super-4 match of India in the Asia Cup 2022.

Earlier, the veteran right-hander was enduring a poor run of form with the bat and couldn’t score a century for the period of almost three years. Before the century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022, he scored his last century against Bangladesh three years back in the year 2019.

Speaking about India’s performance in the 15th edition of the Asia Cup, then they got eliminated from the tournament after losing two consecutive matches against Pakistan and then Sri Lanka in the super-4 round of the tournament. Although, India finished with a win in the dead rubber against Afghanistan.

Now, India will host South Africa and Australia for the T20I series, and then they will head to their next assignment in the T20 World Cup 2022.
