On 30 April 2023, Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing IPL. It will be the 42nd match of the tournament that will take place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Currently, MI are in the eighth spot with six points in seven games. While RR are in the first spot with 10 points in eight games.

MI are coming off after a heavy defeat against Gujarat Titans (GT). While RR are coming off after a victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, as of now, Jos Buttler has scored 271 runs in eight matches, at an average of 33.87. He has smashed three fifties also. But, this season, in recent matches, Buttler has struggled.

In the last four innings, he has managed two ducks. Even in the last game against Chennai Super Kings, he scored only 27 runs. So, at Wankhede, RR fans will hope for a better knock from Jos Butter. The true bounce at the Wankhede pitch might suit him more and he can give a solid start to RR along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. 

2. Cameron Green

But, then in the next three games, Green scored 64* runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), 67 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS), and 33 runs against Gujarat Titans. So, fans will hope for another top knock from him at Wankhede against RR. In the last innings at Wankhede, Cameron Green smashed six fours and three sixes.         

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal

This young opener of RR has been in great form so far in the ongoing IPL. In eight matches, Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored 304 runs, at an average of 38. He has struck three fifties so far in the tournament. Currently, he is in the sixth position in the race for the Orange Cap. In the last match against CSK, Jaiswal smashed 77 runs off 43 balls.

He hit eight fours and four sixes also in that inning. That knock also earned him the Player of the Match award. But, his strike rate of 179.06 impressed everyone. Since the start of the inning, he played some delightful shots and helped RR to reach 64 runs in the first six overs without losing any wickets. Hence, RR fans will hope for another blistering knock against MI from this youngster.
