IPL 2023: Predicting 3 Most Run Scorers in Today's GT vs DC Match

The 44th game of the ongoing IPL will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans (GT) will lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) on 2 May 2023. GT are currently in the top spot with 12 points in eight matches. While DC are at the rock bottom after four points in eight games.

He scored 63* runs off 24 balls, including four fours and five sixes. In the last game at Eden Gardens, Shankar scored 51* runs off 24 balls, including two fours and five sixes. His knock helped GT to chase down 180 runs with ease with 13 balls to spare. So, another top knock is expected from Vijay Shankar.      

2. Mitchell Marsh

This star Aussie all-rounder has finally shown some form in the last two games for DC. So far in IPL 2023, Mitchell Marsh has scored 94 runs in six matches, at an average of 15.66. In the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), he scored 63 runs off 39 balls, including one four and six sixes. 

He also stitched up a partnership of 112 runs for the second wicket. However, before this tournament, Marsh had great form during the white-ball series against India in India. So, it was surprising to see him having such a bad start to the tournament. So, a big inning is expected from Mitchell Marsh in this game.        

3. Shubman Gill

This youngster has managed a good season so far with the bat for GT. Shubman Gill has scored 333 runs in eight matches, at an average of 41.62. He has notched up three fifties so far. In other innings, he got some starts but failed to score big runs. In the last match against KKR, Gill scored 49 runs off 35 balls.

Currently, he is in the joint fifth position in the race for the Orange Cap. However, GT fans will hope for better-paced knocks from this batter in this next game. Narendra Modi Stadium has always been a lucky ground for Gill. So, fans will hope for a big knock against David Warner and his men from Gill.
