We’re almost halfway into the IPL 2021 and two teams that will be most worried about their positions will be Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both teams are struggling at the bottom of the table and desperately need a win to get their campaign back on track. Rajasthan Royals have been let down by their batsmen as neither of their top willow wielders has been able to live up to the expectations. Same is the case with their bowlers, who lack wicket-taking capabilities.

The Royals rely a lot on Buttler, Samson and Miller in their batting department. All three looked good in the last game and Rajasthan Royals will hope that they can capitalize from here and start converting these starts into big scores. One thing is for sure, if Rajasthan has to win matches, they’ll need to get above par scores on most occasions as the bowling doesn’t look too good.

Sunrisers Hyderabad's miseries are a result of poor cricket, poor team selection and some bad luck. However, with David Warner, Kane Williamson, and even Manish Pandey scoring runs, they can hope for a change in their fortunes. Williamson would desperately want Bhuvneshwar Kumar to get fit as he along with Rashid Khan will give him two genuine wicket-taking options. Other bowlers can play supporting roles. Overall, Sunrisers Hyderabad are in a much better space than their opposition.

Pitch Report - The wickets in Delhi have been very true so far but the surface will get slower as the tournament progresses.

Team News

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals are short of options thus there is not much they can do with the team combination. Maybe Shreyas Gopal or Mayank Markande can come in place of one of the pacer to add some variety in their bowling.

X-Factor

Jos Buttler

Buttler is a crucial player for Rajasthan. He is someone who can get them off to a flying start and can set the platform for the players to follow. He looked like finding his form and scored a crisp 41 in the last game. If he can carry on and play longer innings, Rajasthan Royals will end up with a satisfactory score more often than not.

Team News

Sunrisers Hyderabad

There is no confirmation on Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s injury but if he is fit, he will come into the playing XI straight away. Also, SRH have sacked David Warner as a captain with Kane Williamson taking over the duties.

X-Factor

Rashid Khan

Every time Rashid Khan has a ball in hand, SRH is in the game. Even in the last game against CSK, he picked up all three wickets to fall. He will be the trump card for Williamson with the ball.
