The mega auction for the fifteenth edition of the Indian T20 league saw several players earning big bucks. However, a few top-class players were purchased for shockingly small amounts by teams. Taking their talent and potential into account, such deals can safely be called a "Steal". Today we shall be taking a look at the top five steal deals of this mega auction.

1) Jason Roy ( INR 2 crore )

Just a few days before the auction when Jason Roy scored a hundred in the Pakistan Super League. Besides, he has been one of the most explosive openers for quite a while now. Moreover, he has the ability to single-handedly win games on his day. Thus, Gujarat getting him at his base price was shocking, to say the least.

2) Rassie van der Dussen ( INR 1 crore )

Of late, Rassie has been one of the most consistent batters. Not only can he play the role of an anchor, but he can also finish games. Thus, Rajasthan getting him for just INR 1 crore was an absolute blessing for the franchise. Considering the lack of overseas middle-order batters, getting him was a superb buy.

3) David Miller ( INR 3 crore )

Contrary to what the critics say, David Miller's form has been superb of late. Besides, he's a veteran in this league. Getting a great finisher like him for just INR 3 crore was an absolute steal deal for Gujrat.

4) Fabian Allen ( INR 75 lakh )

Fabian Allen is a complete package. Taking into account the fact that he is a bowler who can bowl tight lengths, and score the big shots with the bat as well, other teams could have easily tried to get him. However, getting an explosive player like him for his base price is like stealing an expensive sofa from the supermarket. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't be surprising if he gets a chance in the XI for Mumbai as well.

5) Evin Lewis- INR 2 crore

Lucknow were one of the smartest teams in the auction. However, in this scenario, they got really lucky to have acquired a T20 giant in the form of Evin Lewis, that too at just his base price. Lewis has scored 1423 T20I runs at an average and strike rate of 30.28 and 155.52. This includes two hundreds as well.

Few big names like Quinton de Kock and David Warner was also purchased at incredible low cost.
