Indian Cricket Board announces Indian team's cricket schedule for home assignments till march 2023

In a recent piece of announcement, the Indian Cricket Board announced the schedule of the Indian team for upcoming white-ball assignments against Sri Lanka and New Zealand. The men in blue will start playing according to this schedule from the 3^rd of January. After playing with Sri Lanka and New Zealand, the Indians will lock horns with Australia in a four-match Test series followed by a three-match ODI series.

This season of home assignments for India will start with the series against Sri Lanka in January in a three-match T20I series followed by the same number of ODIs. All the games will be played at six different venues. Rohit Sharma’s men will face New Zealand in the same pattern for six white-ball games at multiple venues.

Following the conclusion of the series against New Zealand on the 1^st of February, the Indian team will be playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia from the 9^th of February to the 22^nd of March. Interestingly, it will also be the last edition of any four-match Test series between India and Australia.

All three series the Indian team is supposed to play will include an ODI series which will give a chance for all the teams to prepare for the ODI World Cup 2023.
