The Indian team had a huge victory over Sri Lanka in the first Test at Mohali. The visitors were outplayed in all departments of the game and will need to punch above their weight to pull off an upset. Sri Lanka have been dealt with two big blows as Pathum Nissanka and Dushmantha Chameera will not be part of the team. The two were few of the positives for Sri Lanka in the first Test. The team can bring in Dinesh Chandimal or Kusal Perera in the team. However, they will have a mammoth task of resisting the Indian spinners.

The hosts have all their bases covered and will be very confident going into the match. Axar Patel is likely to replace Jayant Yadav. It's a day-night game thus India may be tempted to play Mohammed Siraj as well.

Pitch Report:

The Pitch in Bangalore is generally known to be batting friendly. It tends to break over the course of the match and becomes spinner friendly towards the end of a Test. The team winning the toss will look to bat first, given the history of the ground. The spinners will definitely have a say in the fourth innings of the match and both teams will look to avoid batting in the last innings.
