Rohit Sharma and Ben Stokes are currently involved in a five-match series with India leading 2-1. England had won the first Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs to take the early lead in the series. India won in Vizag and Rajkot by a margin of 106 and 434 runs to take the lead. The final game of the series will be played in Dharamshala starting on 7th March.

The Jharkhand authorities placed security on high alert ahead of the 4th Test in Ranchi. The move has come after Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has sounded a terror threat to disrupt the game.

According to reports, Pannun has asked the CPI (M) local cadres to create a nuisance during the game. The idea is to get the match cancelled in Ranchi as Pannun has also asked Ben Stokes and his team to return home to England.

PK Mishra who is the DSP of Hatia said to the media “An FIR has been lodged against him at Dhurwa Police Station under the IT Act and an investigation has been initiated”. According to a video doing the rounds a voice that apparently belongs to Pannun the entire plan has been explained.

According to the idea the flags of Khalistan and Maoist are to be raised by running onto the ground. This is a bid to bring the apparent issues of the farmers to the international community.

Priya Ojha who happens to be the JSCA Media Manager said “Ticket sales have been encouraging so far”. The last time Ranchi hosted a Test match was in 2019 when India beat South Africa to win the series 3-0.
