Shubman Gill is currently busy playing in the ongoing IPL for Gujarat Titans (GT). However, during this tournament, on 8 May 2023, he confirmed that he will dub the voice of Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar in the upcoming movie ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.’ The GT opener will dub the voice for the character in Hindi and Punjabi language.

Now, on 18 May 2023, a video went viral where Shubman Gill was seen posing as Spider-Man on top of a car. Gill attended the Hindi trailer launch event of the movie. Speaking of the movie, it is going to release on 2 June 2023 in India. Seeing such poses from the star batter, fans shared their views on social media.

He has scored 576 runs in 13 matches and is currently in the second spot in the race for the Orange Cap this year.

In the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Gill smashed his maiden IPL Ton as he scored 101 runs off 58 balls. After winning the Player of the Match award, during the post-match presentation, he said: “My IPL debut was against SRH, now I've my IPL hundred against them. Quite pleased. It's come a full circle.
