Raju Srivastava, the man who brough smiles and laughs on the face of the people breathed for last time on Wednesday at the age of 58. He happened to collapse during workout in the gym last month on the 10th of August. Just after this incident, family and friends rushed with him AIIMS Delhi. Following this, he was on a life support system and then he was shifted by the doctors to the intensive care unit.

Even after a lot of work and hard work of the medical team, the veteran comedian was unconscious for more than last 40 days and his health was going down with every passing day. On the 21st of September, Wednesday, a brain damage happened to him following a heart attack and later on he was declared dead by the hospital at 10.20 AM.

Apart from the personalities from various fields, sports fraternity also mourned on his death and delivered their condolences on the social media platform Twitter.

Looking at the sports personalities who expressed their sorrow included the likes of former Indian batter and commentator Aakash Chopra, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Krunal Pandya, and Virender Sehwag. Along with these veterans, there were also some renowned names who were in the mourning.

Raju Srivastava was one of legendary comedians in the Indian scenario of Showbiz. He dominated the stage for almost a decade and was also a part of the famous Indian comedy show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.”

He was famously known as Gajodhar Bhaiya among the fans. TGILC was the very show with which he started his comedy career.
