In the same sequence, HCA president and former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin is also on the receiving end of harsh criticism from the fans for his remarks while clearing his stand on the brawl that occurred outside the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad.

"There are going to be problems. Yes, the public wants to see the match after a three-year gap. But, again, not all of them can do it,” said Azharuddin when he was in a meeting with the sports minister of Telangana, V Srinivas Goud.

"We are holding a match. It is not as easy to conduct a match as sitting in this room and discussing it. We have done nothing wrong,” he added later.

These remarks from the 59-year-old didn’t go down well with the cricket fans and they took no time in lashing out at him. Some fans said that he should resign and responsibility should be given to a guy who is quite more responsible than him.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Notably, India will lock horns with Australia in the third match of the series, currently, the visitors are leading the series by 1-0 after winning the first match against the hosts. They completely outplayed the Indians and won the match by four wickets to get an upper hand in the series.

After the conclusion of this series, the Indian team will host the South African side for the three-match T20I series just ahead of the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
