Hyderabad Cricket Association is in the headlines of the media after a stampede outside and brutal police action over the cricket fans at the Gymkhana Ground. Cricket fans are in angst over the state cricket association since the brawl happened. They went on to the extent of saying that the third of the three-match T20I series should be boycotted by the fans after the behavior that fans received outside while looking to buy the tickers.
In the same sequence, HCA president and former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin is also on the receiving end of harsh criticism from the fans for his remarks while clearing his stand on the brawl that occurred outside the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad.
"There are going to be problems. Yes, the public wants to see the match after a three-year gap. But, again, not all of them can do it,” said Azharuddin when he was in a meeting with the sports minister of Telangana, V Srinivas Goud.
"We are holding a match. It is not as easy to conduct a match as sitting in this room and discussing it. We have done nothing wrong,” he added later.
These remarks from the 59-year-old didn’t go down well with the cricket fans and they took no time in lashing out at him. Some fans said that he should resign and responsibility should be given to a guy who is quite more responsible than him.

Mohammad Azharuddin said, "we've done nothing wrong regarding the tickets sale. Organising match is not easy, it's easy to talk and say. We're with the people who got injured, whatever happened there was unfortunate".
