Deepak Chahar tears apart reputed airline for poor service ahead of Bangladesh ODI series (Image Source: Twitter)
Deepak Chahar, the Indian pacer, is all set to take part in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh and the series will get underway on December 4, Sunday. As things stand, the Indian bowler opened up about his travel experience and expressed his disappointment with Malaysian Airlines’ service.
For the unversed, post the conclusion of the ODI series against New Zealand that the latter won 1-0, the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Chahar, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur were travelling to Dhaka via Kuala Lampur.
Claiming that they changed the flight without informing the players, Chahar complained that they were not served food in business class. Further, the right-arm pacer said that they are awaiting their luggage for almost a day.
“Had a worse experience travelling with Malaysia airlines @MAS .first they changed our flight without telling us and no food in Business class. Now we have been waiting for our luggage from last 24hours. Imagine we have a game to play tomorrow,” Chahar tweeted on December 3, Saturday.

Can India defeat Bangladesh in their backyard?
The Men in Blue are currently the favourites to clinch the series and India will look to get things sorted ahead of the 50-over World Cup in India in 2023. As things stand, Mohammed Shami, the key pacer for team India, was ruled out of the series on the back of the injury that he sustained.
Chahar and Mohammed Siraj will be tasked to lead the pace attack once again, although Umran Malik, who impressed everyone with his pace in the Kiwi tour, was added to the Indian camp as the replacement. It remains to be seen if it would affect India’s pace battery in the long run but as of now, Shami would hope to make a strong comeback for the Men in Blue and make it count. The likes of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul would look to turn things around post their dismal outing in the recently concluded multinational tournament.
