His antics on the field during the qualifier 1 match between Rajasthan and Gujarat didn’t impress a lot of people on Twitter. However, Indian cricketer, Suryakumar Yadav felt the complete opposite. He, in fact, took to Twitter to hail the young Indian cricketer for his attitude on the field.

‘Amazing attitude on the field.’ Suryakumar Yadav wrote on Twitter.

His tweet didn’t go down too well with the fans. While some of them praised Suryakumar Yadav for motivating a youngster, a lot of them criticized the Yadav for praising Riyan Parag’s attitude rather than bashing him and even asked the former to delete his Tweet.

The 31-year-old, however, didn’t delete the tweet but rather clarified to the netizens that his Tweet was only related to Riyan Parag’s fielding and not anything else. 'For his fielding last night guys Chill', Suryakumar Yadav said in a reply to his previous Tweet.

Notably, Suryakumar Yadav’s previous tweet praising Riyan Parag came after the latter made a stunning effort on the field at long-on to stop a boundary. It must also be added that during his effort, he also expressed displeasure at Devdutt Padikkal was not backing up properly.

Earlier, in the match, he also gave a death stare to Ravichandran Ashwin on the last ball of the first innings when the latter denied taking a single. Well, these aren’t the only two occasions when Parag has grabbed eyeballs because of his on-field antics.

The 20-year-old Rajasthan cricketer is likely to be seen in the qualifier 2 game against Bangalore at Narendra Modi Stadium. He has played 15 matches this season and has managed to score 168 runs at a strike rate of 143.59.
