Australia will look to get back into winning ways in the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The match will take place in Indore as India are already leading the series by 2-0 by winning the first two matches. Form of Steve Smith has been a concern for the Aussies as he has failed to score big.

In four innings so far, Smith has scored 71 runs. In the Delhi Test, he scored a duck in the first innings while managing just nine runs in the second innings. But, he was not happy with the way of his dismissal as the Aussies experienced a batting collapse after that. Now, while talking to reporters ahead of the Indore clash, Steve Smith opened up about the same matter.

“I was pretty angry” - Steve Smith

Smith said: "I've played, what, 95 Test matches (94) and I don't think there have been too many times I've walked off the field and I've gone, 'what the hell am I doing?'" "I was pretty angry. There haven't been too many times in my career where I've actually come off and just been bedazzled by what I've done. It wasn't my finest moment. Certainly something to learn from, I'm still learning as well. It wasn't the way I wanted to play, particularly when I had the field set for all of us – they had the field out,” Steve Smith added.

"We probably just rushed things a little bit and it's something we'll talk about when we've got them on the ropes, we can slow things down. We don't have to play at such a high tempo and risky tempo. Because we had them where we wanted them, we had men out and the ability to get off strike. We just rushed it," Steve Smith concluded. Hearing such a comment from the star batter, fans came up and shared their views on the social media platform.
