Fans are eagerly waiting to see team India in action in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The third Test will take place in Indore on 1 March 2023. The Men in Blue will look to continue their dominance after winning the first two matches convincingly. On the other hand, the Aussies will look for a win to keep them alive in the series.

These last two matches are crucial for both teams as the fate of the World Test Championship’s final is hanging. If Australia loss the next two matches, then India will be in the final and the Aussies have to wait for the results of upcoming New Zealand vs Sri Lanka series. Meanwhile, the pitch has been in the headlines since the start of this series.

India will look to win the third Test in Indore to seal the series

Before the first Test match in Nagpur, a renowned Australian news channel, ‘Fox Cricket’ shared some pictures of the pitch. They accused team India of “straight-up pitch doctoring” the Nagpur pitch. However, Rohit Sharma blew off such things on the eve of the series opener.

Rohit Sharma said: "Speaking about doctored pitches, I just feel like, focus on the cricket that is going to be played in the next five days and not worry too much about the pitch. The last series that we played here, a lot was said about the pitches. After all, the 22 guys out there are all quality players. So don't worry about what the pitches are going to be like, how much will it turn, how much will it seam. Just come out and play good cricket, win the game as simple as that."

Even, before the start of both matches, Australian players were seen monitoring the pitches closely. Still, Australian batters failed miserably against the spin trio of team India and they got bamboozled in all four innings so far. Now, ahead of the third Test, an image of the Indore pitch has gone viral.
