Streak burst onto the scene in Zimbabwe and made headlines with his exploits in the African nation as a fast bowler. When it comes to Test matches, he played 65 of them for the Chevrons and picked up 216 wickets with seven five-wicket hauls. He also scored 1990 runs and has a Test ton to his name. When we talk about ODI cricket,  he played 189 matches for Zimbabwe.

In those, he racked up 2943 runs at an average of 28.29. He has the highest score of 79 in the 50-over format. He picked up 239 wickets in ODI cricket and has one five-wicket haul. Streak then went on to become coach of Zimbabwe after he had ended his playing career.

Streak was slapped with an eight-year ban from all cricketing activities in 2021 for breaking the Cricket governing body's anti-corruption policy. He was blamed for giving out vital inside information about franchise T20 leagues including the Indian Premier League (IPL). Streak did accept the ban but vehemently denied involvement in match-fixing.
