During the 8-team format of the tournament, 56 games took place. But this time, the number of games will increase to 70.
With the Indian T20 League getting more intense and lengthier this time, the players will have to protect themselves from the wear and tear of the hassle. But even before the season starts, some players are already addressing injury issues. These players will look to make a strong comeback from their injury woes and perform big. Here are five such players who will be coming into the tournament with injury concerns.

2. Hardik Pandya: Hardik Pandya’s claim to fame was his dynamism. He is a very powerful finisher with the bat and a useful bowler. But his injury has kept him from bowling for over two years now.
Hardik has been away from competitive cricket since his last appearance in the 20-20 World Cup 2021. He has been going through rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. However, Gaikwad is coming into the tournament after recovering from a hand injury he suffered against West Indies. His presence in the first part of the tournament was in doubt. However, according to recent reports, he will be available for Chennai from the beginning. Fans will be waiting to see if Ruturaj retains his elegance and consistency even after coming back from an injury.
