With some quick hits from skipper Rohit Sharma, India got a strong start as they scored 38 runs in just 4.5 overs. But things went south for India suddenly when Rohit Sharma fell prey to Ayush Shukla and got caught by Aizaz Khan at the individual score of 21 off 13 balls with two boundaries and a six.

When Rohit got out, KL Rahul was playing only on 18 runs off 14 balls. This dismissal of the skipper didn’t go down well with the Indian cricket fans and they start blaming KL Rahul for this. This is because of the fact that KL Rahul was playing very slow and Rohit Sharma felt the pressure of scoring runs quickly. It eventually resulted in his early dismissal.

Fans immediately took to Twitter for lashing out at KL Rahul for his less responsible attitude in a very crucial match of the tournament.

Here’s how Twitter reacted:

Speaking of the match, then India has currently scored 81 runs in 11.2 overs having KL Rahul and Virat Kohli there in the middle. KL has scored 34 runs off 35 balls with two sixes whereas Kohli is on 24 runs off 23 balls with a boundary to his name. Ayush Shukla has scalped the first wicket for Hong Kong.

Earlier in the tournament, Indians have beaten the arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match by a margin of five wickets. Hardik Pandya was awarded player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance. The 28-year-old first scalped 3 wickets with the ball and then later score a match-winning 33 runs off just 17 balls to cross the line for India.
