Cricket is considered as a religion in India, for cricket fans in the entire country, former legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar is the ‘God of Cricket’. Notably, Tendulkar hung his boots in international cricket nine years back in the year 2013. But still, the fans love him to the same even after so many years of being away from the game.

Fans never miss a chance to react to a social media post from Tendulkar, any post from him gets viral among the fans within minutes of being uploaded.

Recently, the country celebrated ‘National Sports Day’, Tendulkar took Twitter for sharing a video in which he recalled the fans by doing batting practice and playing some shots.

“It's #NationalSportsDay and how could I not play the sport I love and dedicated my life to? Share your pictures/videos playing your favorite sport,” read the caption of the video Tendulkar posted.

KL Rahul fell prey to the trolls after the video of Sachin Tendulkar

In this video of 35 seconds, Tendulkar could have been seen displaying a variety of shots that reminded fans about the era when he used to destroy the mighty bowling attacks in world cricket. Fans went on to applaud and appreciate the 49-year-old and also said that he is still fit to make it again to the Indian team.

Whereas some other fans who are frustrated by the poor run of form of KL Rahul in major international games said that the former batter looks in better form than KL and he should open the innings with Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup which is to be played next year.

KL Rahul has recently made a comeback to international cricket after a long break due to his injury of a sports hernia. But he couldn’t have a good outing in the T20 international cricket and failed to score any run against the arch-rivals Pakistan in India’s first match of the Asia Cup 2022.

Earlier, India tried a lot of options in the opening when KL Rahul was not there to open the innings.
