Indian management has rested the regular skipper of team India in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. Although, he will be back with the team in the upcoming five-match T20I series. Notably, team India recently won the both ODI and T20I series against the English team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

But, the 35-year-old could not be a part of the rescheduled last Test match against England as he tested positive for Covid-19. Rohit was also looking in a bit of good batting form during the limited-overs leg against the three lions earlier this month.

But recently, the Indian captain is in the headlines of social media for some other unwanted reasons. The fans are trolling him on Twitter for disrespecting and ignoring a fan during the Instagram live.

The gesture from Rohit Sharma drove fans to react immediately

A Twitter user shared the video of a particular Instagram live which features Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, and skipper Rohit Sharma. In the middle of the live, a fan joins and greets Rohit Sharma with a pleasant gesture. But Rohit Sharma happened to be ignorant and cut off himself from the video.

Following this, Pant and Suryakumar Yadav started laughing after this. Seeing this reaction on a greet from a fan, Twitter users went outrageous for Rohit Sharma. They criticized him for this ignorant attitude towards his own fans.

On the other side, speaking of the current action of team India, then they have recently defeated the West Indies in the three-match ODI series. Shikhar Dhawan-led young team registered a clean sweep in the series with a score line of 3-0. The men in maroon went very close to the win in first two matches but it was the visitors who held the nerves and crossed the line.

Young opening batter Shubman Gill won the both player of the match and player of the series awards for his amazing batting performances throughout the entire series.
