Shoaib Malik, Pakistan’s veteran batter, married Sania Mirza, India’s star tennis star in 2010 and the duo was blessed with a boy in 2018. However, the beautiful couple hit the headlines not so long ago when rumours claimed that the duo might split and there were many reports doing surface that claimed that Malik was seeing another woman from Pakistan.

Amid all the rumours, the duo announced ‘The Mirza Malik Show’ on the OTT platform, Urduflix, putting an end to all such rumours. Malik, on November 15, Tuesday, took to Twitter to wish his wife on her birthday and it further frustrated the fans who said that the rumours were nothing but a publicity stunt to attract views for their new show.

“Happy Birthday to you @MirzaSania Wishing you a very healthy & happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest…” Malik tweeted. The tweet, which seems to have busted the rumours and reports, also has a picture of them sharing a sweet moment, which makes the fans go a bit crazy and feel that they have been tricked all the while.

‘Happy to see you both together, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza’

While many went on to criticize the duo, there were a few who wished them well and requested them to sort out the issues, if any and carry on with their lives. One avid fan of the duo, who replied to Malik’s tweet, wished them to continue as partners and requested them to stay together always.

“Happy birthday to Sania. Love to see your wish for ur wife. But is it true that u r getting divorce? Hope it's all fake, please. Always stay together,” a Twitter user named Nasreen wrote in reply. Malik, who last appeared for Pakistan in 2021 November against Bangladesh, is yet to announce his retirement and the right-handed batter is unlikely to make a comeback to competitive cricket.

With over 11,500 runs across all formats, Malik remains one of the best batters that the country has ever seen and for a player like him who deserves a fairytale farewell, fate has not been kind as his future with the Pakistan team is pretty unclear.
