On 26 April 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ongoing IPL. The match will take place at Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, KKR have already defeated RCB in the reverse fixture at Eden Gardens. So, RCB will look to win this time around in front of the home crowd.

However, ahead of any clash in IPL, a pre-match show happens on the official broadcasting channel where cricket experts share their views, and analysis of the match. Now, during the pre-match show of RCB vs KKR, the Bollywood actress, Ananya Panday was seen joining the panel and seeing her, and fans shared funny tweets on social media.    

RCB won the toss and elected to bowl first against KKR 

Ananya Panday is a young Bollywood actress and he is the daughter of Chunky Panday. But, as she has no such connection with cricket, it was quite surprising for fans to see her attending the pre-match show. However, she has been seen attending a few matches of KKR while supporting the team over the years. Speaking of the form of these teams, KKR are in the eighth spot with four points from seven games. In contrast, RCB are in the fifth position with eight points in seven games. RCB won the last two consecutive matches while KKR lost their last four matches back-to-back.

However, fans will be eager to see whether Faf du Plessis will be back as skipper or not for RCB. In the last two matches, he has been playing as an impact player. Hence, Virat Kohli is leading the side. Meanwhile, Kohli came out for the toss once again and he opted to bowl first after winning it. Virat Kohli said: “Decided to bowl first. No brainer. Evening game at Chinnaswamy, we've chased well here. It was unexpected but nothing I'm not used to (stand-in captaincy). It's been fun so far because of the way the team has been playing. Faf will be playing the impact role again. Hopefully, he'll be back leading from the next game. Looks like a great pitch, the usual Chinnaswamy pitch that we expect.”
