Yuzvendra Chahal is currently busy laying for the Rajasthan franchise in the ongoing Indian T20 League. He has been an integral part of the franchise since joining them in 2022 for INR 6.5 Cr. In the last edition, he was the highest wicket-taker with 27 wickets in 17 games. The leggie also began this edition with a solid performance against Hyderabad.

He picked up four wickets for 17 runs in his four overs. Now, he will be in action again on 5 April when Rajasthan will take on Punjab. Now, ahead of that clash, an image has gone viral where Yuzvendra Chahal was seen with the assistant coach, Trevor Penney with some awkward expressions. Seeing that image, fans went crazy and shared some funny tweets over the internet.

After his four-wicket spell against Hyderabad, Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian bowler to take 300 wickets in T20s. He also equalled Lasith Malinga's record for the second-most Indian T20 League wickets. Against Hyderabad, Chahal bowled their most expensive player, Harry Brook, and then took the wickets of Mayank Agarwal, Adil Rashid, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

After the match, he opened up about his tussle with Brook and said: "My plan was to vary my pace and bowl stump to stump. It is always my strength. I am doing nothing new and I am just backing my strengths. We will see when I get five wickets or anything, hopefully something new will come". "The way we got the start in the batting, the way Jos and Yashasvi battedâ€æwe knew 200 was a good score on this wicket," Yuzvendra Chahal concluded.

During the post-match press conference, skipper Sanju Samson said that Chahal looked very happy while performing for the Rajasthan franchise. He said: “Him, being him, wearing this pink jersey, I think he definitely has a great role to play. I felt that he was very happy today (Sunday), the way he bowled and getting those wickets is definitely going to help him.”
