Team India’s tour of the West Indies will kick off on 12 July 2023. However, many players like KL Rahul are not a part of the squad due to their injury setbacks. Rahul sustained the injury during the LSG vs RCB game in the IPL 2023. After that, he missed the remaining matches and also got ruled out of the WTC final squad.

Now, as per recent reports, Rahul is getting fit and having rehabilitation sessions at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He is most likely to get fit for the upcoming Asia Cup which is all set to begin on 31 August. Now, he shared a picture of him on social media and fans shared their views also.

KL Rahul last played for India in Tests in the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at home. After failing to score big, the team management decided to drop him and Shubman Gill replace him in the playing XI. After that, he played in the three-match ODI series against the Aussies at home. Then, he was the skipper of Luckow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2023 and played nine games before getting injured. In those games, he scored 274 runs, at an average of 34.25, including two fifties.

After the injury, KL Rahul had a successful surgery and now, he is on the road of getting recovered fully. Speaking of the image, Rahul wrote: “Starting to feel like me again”. On 25 June, an image went viral where Rahul was visiting the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy temple in Dharmasthala, Karnataka. However, Rahul’s form was a concern for the team and fans before getting injured. So, fans were surprised to see him getting a place in the WTC final squad. However, he missed it and Ishan Kishan replaced him. But, KS Bharat got the nod and played the final against the Aussies.
