The media is gaga over a rumoured affair between star India batter Shubman Gill and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar. As such, a recent family photo of the Tendulkar family was doing rounds on social media when fans targeted Shubman Gill in their responses.

Shubman Gill plays for the Gujarat franchise in the Indian T20 League (ITL). The defending champion Gujarat Titans similarly began their title defence to how they had won it the previous year: with a steely determination. They navigated stressful situations near the end to triumph by five wickets with four balls remaining. The amazing mastery of Shubman Gill, who is rapidly approaching greatness, also gave off a feeling of déjà vu.

He had nine hits to the fence, three of which flew over the ropes, most of which would have met Test-standard criteria. Even if it doesn't matter, there's something incredibly appealing about a batter using Test cricket's grace to get runs in T20 cricket.
