Reports were there that both of them were going to get married. Such reports came out true as KL Rahul tied the knot with the Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty on 23 January 2023.
Even, Axar Patel also got married on 26 January 2023. Speaking of KL Rahul’s marriage, the ceremony took place in the bride’s father, Sunil Shetty’s farmhouse, in Khandala around 80 km from Mumbai, India. On 27 January, the star Indian batter shared some adorable and beautiful pictures from the ‘Haldi’ ceremony that left fans awestruck.

After the marriage, on 23 January 2023, KL Rahul shared some pictures with the caption: “In your light, I learn how to love…” Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. While sharing the pictures from their ‘Haldi’ ceremony, KL Rahul wrote: “Sukh (Happyness)” with a sunshine emoji. Such pictures left all fans in awe as those pictures have now gone viral. However, reports have come out that the newly married couple is planning to host a grand reception in Mumbai during the Indian T20 League for Bollywood celebrities and cricketers.
However, several reports also came out regarding the gifts this duo received at their wedding. According to an India TV report, Virat Kohli gifted a BMW luxury car worth Rs 2.17 crore. While MS Dhoni gifted a Kawasaki Ninja bike, Ninja H2R worth Rs 80 lakh. Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan gifted an Audi car worth nearly Rs 1.64 crore. Speaking of KL Rahul, he is going to make a comeback in the upcoming home Test series against Australia. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will kick off on 9 February 2023.
