The star Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav amazed everyone with his stunning comeback after a long wait of 22 months. The 28-year-old last played against England in the month of February last year in 2021. The selectors didn’t pay heed to the wrist spinner and he was out of the team despite of good performances.
Although, the tables turned in favor of Kanpur bowlers and he got a chance to appear for India in the recently concluded first of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Kuldeep took this chance with both hands and stunned everyone with his remarkable comeback.
He went on to bag 8 wickets in the match including a five-for in the first innings of Bangladesh. Apart from this, the spin prodigy also impressed with the bat in the first innings by adding crucial 40 runs to the scoreboard of India in the first innings.
The cricket fans also lavished their praises on Kuldeep for a brilliant Test comeback after being ignored for a time period.

Notably, Kuldeep has always lived up to the expectations in the longest format of the game as he has scalped 34 wickets in 14 innings of the eight Tests played so far. In these appearances, the Uttar Pradesh cricketer has 3 five-wicket hauls to his name.
Speaking of the first Test match of the series between Bangladesh and India, the hosts were given a target of 513 runs by KL Rahul’s men in the fourth innings of the match. Kuldeep and Axar’s spin duo bagged seven wickets collectively to bundle up Bangladesh on the score of 324 runs.
Debutant Zakir Hasan and skipper Shakib Al Hasan were the only two batters who struggled for Bangladesh. But eventually, the Indian team won the match by a margin of 188 runs to take a lead of 1-0 in the series.
Now both teams will lock horns in the second Test of the series at Sher-E-Bangla stadium in Mirpur from the 22nd of December.
