The young Indian batter Shubman Gill impressed everyone with an amazing and his maiden Test Ton. Gill smashed 110 runs against Bangladesh in the ongoing first of the two-match Test series. The 23-year-old smashed 10 boundaries and three sixes to his name. Although, his dismissal is under scanner as he went on to throw away his wicket after a good knock.

On the other hand, Gill's opening partner and stand-in skipper KL Rahul failed once again to live up to the expectations and could score only 23 runs. He fell prey to Bangla pacer Ebadot Hossain.

Following this brilliant performance from Gill and the poor display by KL Rahul, fans took to Twitter and urged the Indian Cricket Board to drop KL Rahul from the squad. Fans also went on to term KL Rahul as 'overrated'.

Speaking of the current action of the match between Bangladesh and India on the fourth day of the first Test. Bangladesh is looking in a commanding position with a score of 119 runs without losing any wickets. Earlier, the visitors declared their second innings on the score of 258 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Senior Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara also scored a Test century after a long wait of more than 1000 days. He scored 102 runs off 130 balls. Notably, it is also the quickest century for Pujara in his Test career.

Following the conclusion of this match, both teams will lock horns in the second and last of the two-match Test series. Sher-E-Bangla stadium in Mirpur will host this match between both teams. Bangladesh has already defeated the Indians by a margin of 2-1 in the three-match ODI series.
