Reportedly, Chennai’s Instagram handle had also unfollowed Jadeja. However, the franchise’s CEO, Kashi Viswanathan has now put all the speculations to rest. He has refuted the reports of a rift between the franchise and the Indian all-rounder.

The CEO stated that the medical team has advised him to not take part further into the tournament and, thus has been ruled out for the remainder of the competition. He added that the all-rounder will be in Chennai’s scheme of things in the future.

"Jaddu had an injury during the game against RCB and after that he didn't play the game against Delhi Capitals. On medical advice, it has been decided that he cannot participate further in this IPL and he is heading back home. He has been released."

"Social media, I absolutely do not follow anything. I have no knowledge of what is going on there. What I can tell you is that from the management side, there has been no problem and whatever is there on social media, I'm not aware. Jadeja firmly remains in the CSK's scheme of things for the future, always," Viswanathan told Indian Express.

Ravindra Jadeja endured a forgettable outing in the Indian T20 League 2022. In 10 matches, he could only manage to score 116 runs at an average of 19.33. With the ball, he picked only 5 wickets in 10 games at a dismal average of close to 50 and an economy of 10.
