Steve Smith impressed everyone with his captaincy during the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Indore. He led Australia to a nine-wicket victory and handed a shocking defeat to the Men in Blue. However, Pat Cummins failed to return from home before the fourth match.

Hence, Steve Smith got the opportunity to lead the team once again in Ahmedabad. But, in this match so far, Smith has faced a tough time as Indian batters are looking to take lead over them despite scoring 480 runs in the first innings. Now, a video from that match has gone viral where Smith was seen moving his hips while fielding in the first session of day four.

Steve Smith scored 38 runs off 135 balls in the first innings of the Ahmedabad Test

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 126th over of India’s innings. Virat Kohli and Srikar Bharat were batting while Cameron Green was bowling. During that over, Smith was seen moving his hips while standing at slips. Fans found it and hailed Smith for showing his dance skills. Hence, they came up and shared their views on social media platforms. Speaking about Smith, he scored just 38 runs off 135 balls in the first innings of the Ahmedabad Test. Even, he has failed to score big in the first three matches also. 

In the first three matches, Steve Smith scored 97 runs in five innings. However, after winning the Indore Test, Smith claimed that he has always enjoyed doing captaincy in India. While speaking to reporters, Smith said: “Look, India is a part of the world I love captaining. It’s a game of chess, every ball means something. It’s good fun moving people and trying to make the batter think and something different and just playing games with them. It’s probably my favourite place in the world to captain.”
