It was eventually his 75th international hundred across all three formats of the Men in Blue. After the knock, Virat Kohli’s wife and the Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma shared a video to celebrate that century on her Instagram story. She wrote: “Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always.” But, fans were left shocked after getting to know that the star battled fever throughout the innings.

Some fans also claimed that Anushka just wanted to gain sympathy as she was looking to glorify the knock from the star batter. It seemed that she wanted to tell that Kohli played such a marathon knock despite having a fever. But, after day four, Axar Patel said that it did not seem that Kohli was sick the way he played. He said: “I don’t know (if Kohli was not keeping well). The way he was running, it didn’t look like he was sick with the way he built that partnership, in this heat and the way he ran... It was good to have that stand with him.”
