In a major piece update, the media reports have learned that the young Indian pacer Umran Malik and Mohammed Siraj has been included in the reserve list of the Indian squad for the 20-20 World Cup 2022. This news has arrived amidst the conundrum of the pace bowling lineup in the Indian management after a big question mark on the availability of Jasprit Bumrah in the squad for the World Cup.

Currently, the men in blue are in action during the ongoing three-match T20I series against South Africa. In the midst of the series, the Indian camp faced a major blow as the senior pacer Jasprit Bumrah complained of a stress fracture in his back.

Here’s the update on the inclusion of Umran Malik:

Speaking of the current concerns of the Indian camp, then they have recently included Mohammed Siraj in the ongoing T20I series against the Proteas. Bumrah couldn’t even play the first T20I of the series for India.

Following this, Indian selectors are also thinking of an apt replacement if Jasprit Bumrah misses the 20-20 World Cup somehow. Indian cricket fans and cricket experts have come up with multiple opinions on this question as they’ve suggested the names of a few talented pacers who can replace the 28-year-old in the Indian squad for the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup.

Earlier, an Indian sports journalist dropped a shocking update about Bumrah being ruled out of the marquee tournament in Australia.

“Breaking News: Jasprit  Bumrah is out of World T20 with a serious back stress fracture injury. No surgery reqd but out for 4-6 months as per sources. He didn't travel with the team to Trivandrum,” read the tweet of Kushan Sarkar, a PTI-based sports journalist.

This tweet couldn’t complete for 24 hours and veteran sports editor K Shrinivas Rao came up with another shocking revelation on the availability of Bumrah in the squad.

"Was traveling the last couple of days so missed out on quite a bit. So, all those worried about the possibility of Jasprit Bumrah missing the World Cup... please don't be. He is in very good hands & the word coming out right now is extremely positive -- he may fly,” tweeted Rao.
