Virat Kohli was in action on 9 May 2023 when Mumbai Indians (MI) locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Wankhede Stadium in the ongoing IPL. However, MI registered a six-wicket victory and Virat had a disappointing outing. He scored only one run off four balls and failed cheaply.

After this knock, Kohli has scored 420 runs in 11 matches, at an average of 42. Now, he will be in action again against RR on 14 May. Now, ahead of that clash, a video has gone viral where both Kohli and his wife, the Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma were seen at One8 Commune Restaurant in Juhu. In front of that restaurant, both of them were seen getting clicked by the paparazzi.

Among one of them, one mistakenly called ‘Anushka Sir’. Listening to that, the former RCB skipper said: "Speak Virat ma'am also once. (‘Virat ma’am bhi bolde ek bar) " Then, both of them burst into laughter and all of them shared a light moment. Seeing the video, fans have shared their views on social media instantly. Speaking of MI vs RCB clash, Suryakumar Yadav won the Player of the Match award for scoring 83 runs off 35 balls.

After the loss, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis said: "I think at least 20, the context of the wickets so far this season, anything under 220 with MI's batting line-up. They are a strong side, they bat deep. We didn't capitalise on the last five overs , so very disappointed. We had to play the bluff card, say 200's a great score.” 

“Take pace off with the ball. It was a bit slower than a normal Wankhede wicket. He's ne of the best, when he gets going he's really difficult to bowl too. So many options you can't shut him down. He's been fantastic, the nature of T20 cricket is bowlers will be under pressure. Nature of the beast, long batting line-ups and guys are going to come out and play positively," the RCB skipper concluded.
