On 18 June, the qualifiers for the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup began in Zimbabwe. In the first match, Nepal took on Zimbabwe at Harare. But, an image went viral from the match where a kid was seen wearing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey. One more kid was seen with him wearing a Zimbabwe jersey.

Seeing that image, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. RCB are known as a well-known franchise in the history of IPL. Till now, they have not won the tournament a single time. They have played the final three times, But, failed to reach the ultimate glory. Several top players like Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, and AB de Villiers have represented the team over the years.

Still, RCB fans were left disappointed in each and every season. But, they have always shown a great amount of affection for the team irrespective of their performance. So, their craze has been unreal and now, seeing the same in Zimbabwe also, fans were left surprised. Speaking of the match, Zimbabwe skipper, Craig Ervine won the toss and asked Nepal to bat first. While batting first, they scored 290 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs. Both openers put up a partnership of 171 runs for the first wicket. Aasif Sheikh scored 66 runs off 100 balls, including seven fours.

Then, Kushal Bhurtel scored 99 runs off 95 balls, including 13 fours and two sixes. Then, the following batters came up with some contributions as they put up 290 runs on the board. For Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarava took four wickets for 43 runs in nine overs. Wellington Masakadza took two wickets while both Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani took one wicket each. In reply, the Zimbabwe batters managed a good start as they scored 100 runs for one wicket in 19 overs. Their first wicket fell for 45 runs in eight overs as Joylord Gumbie got out on 25 runs off 29 balls, including five fours.
