The Indian Cricket Board is set to release the revised schedule for the upcoming One Day World Cup in the coming days. However, the latest media reports revealed that some matches of the Pakistan Cricket Team have been rescheduled as requested by the Pakistan Cricket Board. According to the latest schedule circulating in media forums, Pakistan is set to play their first two matches in Hyderabad.

As per the revised schedule, Pakistan will face the Netherlands in their campaign opener at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 6. Then they will face Sri Lanka at the same venue on October 10 instead of October 12. After the first two games, Pakistan will travel to Ahmedabad for the iconic India vs. Pakistan clash.

The iconic match will take place on October 14 instead of October 15 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It's worth noting that this game has been rescheduled due to its clash with the Navratri festival, which is widely celebrated in Gujarat. To avoid any security issues, the Indian Cricket Board decided to reschedule the match.

It's worth noting that earlier, ICB secretary Jay Shah revealed that 1-2 full-member boards are asking to make changes in scheduling. On Thursday last week, he said, "There is a possibility there could be a few changes in the schedule. Several Full Member countries have written in requesting to change two or three dates in the schedule. We are working out with the ICC, and we should be able to clear it in two or three days."

England and New Zealand's matches will be rescheduled too!

Apart from Pakistan's matches, some other games are also being considered to be rescheduled. According to a report in News 18, there have been schedule changes for two cricket matches. The New Zealand vs. Bangladesh clash, originally set for the morning of October 14, has been rescheduled for the following day, October 15.

Additionally, England vs. Afghanistan match will now take place on Sunday as a day-night fixture. The reason behind this change is the broadcasters' desire to capitalise on India vs. Pakistan game, which will be the only match on October 14. By rearranging the timings, the broadcasters hope to maximise viewership and interest in the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan encounter.
