The clash between New Zealand and Pakistan will be followed by the second semi-final between India and England the next day on the 10th of November. Meanwhile, the cricketing fraternity is scaring what will be the solution if somehow rain plays a villain in either of the semi-finals or unfortunately, in both.

So, as per the rules of the DLS method, both teams must have batted at least overs to get a result in the match. But in any case, if both the semi-finals happen to be abandoned, then it will make a straight entry of the table-toppers into the final of the eighth edition of the tournament.

After being informed of this equation, Indian fans couldn’t resist them to come up with some hilarious memes mentioning the situation for England and Pakistan as both teams have finished on the second spot in their respective Groups. So, if the matches will be called off due to rain, it will be a direct elimination of the men in green and the three lions from the tournament.

Here's how Indian fans reacted to the scenario of entry into the finals:

Speaking of the tournament so far, it wasn’t that easy for fans and cricket fans to predict the semi-finalists of Group 2 where the two South Asian giants India and Pakistan were placed. South Africa’s shocking defeat against the Netherlands made it possible for the men in green to enter the semi-finals of the tournament.
