The situation in Pakistan is in complete turmoil as their police are attempting to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The former Prime Minister is also teh only skipper for the Men in green to win an ODI World Cup. But, now, the police are trying to arrest him as Imran failed to appear in court cases linked to the Toshakhana reference.

Last week, police went to Imran’s Zaman Park residence to arrest him, But, somehow, he invaded that arrest. On 12 March 2023. Imran Khan postponed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) election rally. Such a decision came after Punjab’s caretaker government imposed Section 144 in Lahore. Now, reports have come out that the ongoing Pakistan Super League could be in danger.

On 15 March 2023, Lahore Qalanadars will take on Multan Sultans in Lahore in the ongoing tournament. Even, according to recent reports, Islamabad United’s training session on Wednesday morning has been cancelled. Speaking about Imran Khan, police fired tear gas into the grounds of Imran Khan’s Lahore home on Wednesday. Violent clashes between security personnel and the former prime minister’s supporters happened also one night before. However, while speaking to Al Jazeera from his home, Imran said that the arrest attempt was “totally illegal” and politically motivated.

Imran Khan said: “According to the law, I have protected bail until the 18th . So four days earlier, the police have arrived with an arrest warrant, which is totally illegal. So we are waiting for tomorrow morning where my lawyers will appear in court and challenge this warrant of arrest. I am mentally prepared. There is a huge force outside Pakistan’s “biggest terrorist” was holed up inside. The reason they want to arrest me is not because they are worried about the rule of law, but because the biggest criminals are now sitting in the government. They want to remove me from the electoral contest because they are petrified by the popularity of my party.” After seeing such a terrible situation in Pakistan, Indian fans started to troll the country on the social media platform.
