At the same time, they are the second-ranked team in the longest format of the game. On the other hand, England are the reigning World Champion in both the ODI and T20I format.

In recent months, they have also managed to produce a new style of playing Test cricket. Now, India are busy hosting Australia in a four-match Test series at home. While England are preparing for the two-match Test series in New Zealand. However, England’s Barmy Army will be in action again during the upcoming series against the Kiwis. 

Both the Barmy army and the Bharat army have been a great support for England and India respectively 

Barmy Army is a company that helps in providing tickets and arranging touring parties for some of its members to follow the English cricket team in the UK and overseas. However, they are also famous for doing banters and coming up with cheeky comments for their opponent sides. On the other hand, India’s Barmy Army is another group of people that support the Men in Blue in overseas series and major tournaments. So, the banter between these two groups is common thing. Even, India met England in the semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. England registered a 10-wicket victory over the Men in Blue. In that match, Virat Kohli got out after scoring a 39-ball 50. Then, England’s Barmy army trolled the former India skipper on social media platforms. Now, on 14 February 2023, England’s Barmy army shared a cheeky Valentine's wish for the Bharat army. They tweeted: “Happy Valentine's Day @thebharatarmy” with a kiss emoticon.
