Rashid Latif terms star England batter the ‘next Babar Azam or Virat Kohli’

Harry Brook is currently busy playing the ODI series in South Africa. He made his ODI debut in this series. In two matches, he has scored 80 runs. In the first match, Harry managed a duck but in the second game, he scored 80 runs off 75 balls. This star batter has been a revelation for England since his debut across all formats.

In T20Is and Tests also, he has managed a great start to his career. Even, Harry Brook is going to play in the next edition of the Indian T20 League. The Hyderabad franchise bought him for INR 13.25 Crores while his base price was INR 1.5 Crores. Now, regarding him, the former Pakistan skipper, Rashid Latif said that he could be the next Babar Azam or Virat Kohli for England.

While speaking on his YouTube channel 'Caught Behind', Rashid Latif said: “If you look at Brook's performance then in the last couple of innings he was just outstanding. He just doesn't stop. He also became one of the most expensive overseas players in the Indian T20 League auction. Brook is now one of the best players in the world at the moment, among the current crop of players. He could be the next Babar Azam or Virat Kohli.”

Even, England's skipper, Ben Stokes came up with huge praise for Brook when he hit three centuries during the Pakistan series. Stokes said: “He's one of those rare players that you look across all formats and you can just see him being successful everywhere. It's a massive shout, but Virat Kohli is one of those guys where his technique is just so simple and works everywhere. The pressure that he puts back onto opposition is exactly what we're about."

Speaking about Harry Brook, he has played four Tests where he has scored 480 runs in six innings. Apart from this, he has played 20 T20Is so far where Harry Brook has scored 372 runs in 17 innings.
