The match entered the last over when Pakistan crossed the line on the fifth ball of the over by chasing down the target of 182 runs posted by India. Experts and fans are still naming the dropped catch of Asif Alli by young Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh in the 18th over of the match when Ravi Bishnoi was bowling.

Later on, the 25-year-old found himself on the receiving end of criticism from the Indian cricket fans for his drop at a crucial juncture of the match.

Apart from that Arshdeep’s parents were also there at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium to watch the match. They also commented on the performance of Arshdeep during a conversation with a Pakistani sports journalist Rizwan Haider. Arshdeep’s mother Baljit Kaur said that he would’ve won the match for India if he had 12-13 runs to defend in the last over.
