Ability to fly or read the mind? Dinesh Karthik gives an interesting answer

In a recent video uploaded by Indian Cricket Board, Karthik was given the choice to pick one between the ability to fly or read the mind.

India’s wicket-keeper batter, Dinesh Karthik recently stated that if he would get the opportunity to read people’s minds then he would love to read the mind of MS Dhoni.

In a recent video uploaded by the Indian Cricket Board on Twitter, Dinesh Karthik was involved in a ‘Q and A’ session. India’s wicket-keeper batter was asked a lot of questions during the session.

Karthik was given the choice to pick one between the ability to fly or read the mind. To that, he said,

“If I am given the opportunity to read minds, then definitely get into the mind of MS Dhoni.” Further in the video, he chose Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo and Roger Federer over Rafael Nadal. Dinesh Karthik has recently made a comeback in the Indian Team. He is currently part of the Indian Cricket Team for the ongoing T20 series against South Africa.

Dinesh Karthik played for the Bangalore franchise in the recently concluded edition of the Indian T20 League. Batting in the lower-middle order, he gave the team an outstanding finish to the innings on numerous occasions. Karthik played a significant role in helping the team reach the playoffs in the competition.

In 16 matches, he scored 330 runs at an average of 55 and a strike rate of 115.99. His performance helped him make a comeback to the Indian Team. Dinesh Karthik was part of India’s playing XI in the recently concluded 1st T20I against South Africa.

He got to play only 2 balls in that game and scored 1 run. India batted exceedingly well in the first T20I and notched a mammoth score of 211 runs on the board. However, it went in vain as South Africa chased down the score in 19.1 overs.

Dinesh Karthik would be hopeful of getting an opportunity to bat in the next game. The second T20 international between India and South Arica is slated to be played on Sunday at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
