Chetan Sharma also shared some players like Virat Kohli’s relation with the former Board president Sourav Ganguly and current skipper, Rohit Sharma. He said that Sourav Ganguly never liked Virat Kohli. He claimed: “Ganguly did not favour Rohit but he never liked Virat. You can put it in this way."

Chetan Sharma also opened up that the Indian team use injections to get 100% match ready. According to him, the players have perfect knowledge of dope tests. “Some Indian superstar players take injections to be 100% match ready. Those injections don't get caught in dope test," Chetan Sharma added. Regarding the tussle between Virat Kohli and the members of the Indian Cricket Board, the chief selector claimed that the former India skipper tried to defame the former Board president. He even said that Virat was lying when he said that the Board president never told him about this.

He said: “The truth is that that he (Ganguly) did tell him. 8-9 people were there, and Ganguly told him (not to give up captaincy). Virat was lying, but no one knows why... and that is his personal matter, but it became a huge controversy. It became a Board versus player clash.” About Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma, he said that he shares a great relationship with both these players. Chetan Sharma said: “Players come to my home to talk about their future. Hardik Pandya was sleeping on my sofa that day and talking to me. Hardik Pandya is the future of India. He's the most humble cricketer. He came to my house recently." He also claimed there is no fight between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. But, there is a clash of egos between them. Now, after hearing such an interview, fans went crazy. Now, reports came out that Jay Shah will decide the future of Chetan Sharma.
