As a matter of fact, his bromance with Virat Kohli is pretty popular. Both of them share a great bond and have gone on to praise each other many times. The Proteas legend once again heaped praise on Virat Kohli and shed light on his great camaraderie with former India skipper.

While speaking on the RCB podcast, AB said that he generally doesn't keep friendships for long, but the Indian batter was an exception. The 37-year-old stated that his friendship with Kohli came naturally. He also wished that the 33-year-old played for South Africa alongside him.

"I wished Virat Kohli played together with me in South Africa. I am not a guy who keeps friendship for a long time as we keep moving due to cricket but with Virat it came naturally. Even though we were playing together only for just 2 months in a year," said AB de Villiers.

The superman then spoke about his special connection with the Bangalore-based franchise. He also spoke about the soft corner that he has for the city of Bangalore, as well as its people. The "Mr 360" mentioned that always loves playing at the Chinnaswamy.

“My relationship goes far deeper with RCB than just playing cricket for them. I don’t think that would have been possible with any other franchises. That’s why I hold them dearer to my heart. I always connect with places that I go to. I don’t usually remember the smells and visuals of the place but when it comes to Bangalore, there is a certain freshness in the air that I connect with,” he said.

“I thought about other cities like Mumbai and Delhi but I never felt the same with them. That is why I say I have a special connection with RCB. I have always felt special about playing in the Chinnaswamy and its fans. Always," he added.
